When will there be a second wave of the coronavirus?

If expectations about the virus’s transmissibility prove relatively consistent with the flu and the common cold, public-health experts say we can expect cases to resurge in the fall and winter. Because we also don’t know how long people remain immune to COVID-19 once they’ve had it, it’s possible that people who’ve gotten sick in this first wave could be reinfected within the year — meaning it might not just be those who haven’t already been sick who get sick this winter.

 Preventing a second wave of COVID-19

The most common way of getting infected is by touching things in public, so you must wash your hands frequently.The virus can only live on your hands for 5-10 minutes, but a lot of damage can happen in those 5-10 mins(you may rub your eyes or pick your nose unwittingly.) Stay inside if you don’t need to be outside, eat plenty of vegetables.Avoid crowded places such as mall, parks, restaurants, etc. we cannot control the infection rate, as much as we try to quarantine, social distance and shelter in place.The virus just mutates to spread better and awaits for us to make a mistake.These viruses are extremely good at propagating between people, and they can live on surfaces for days to do so. Only one thing can defeat a virus and that is our immune system, by counter evolving antibodies to stop the virus. But for now we just have to wear a face mask everytime.

It is obvious.it is caused by asymptomatic but cured patients who can infect others without themselves knowing it.This is the same for any epidemic.The way to stop this is vaccination.If the vaccine does not come out in time, there is a high possibility of the 2nd wave of corona virus to hit again because the virus is still out. It is actually humans who have locked themselves in.So once they are out in the open again, they will be again vulnerable to the novel coronavirus.
